ReCHARGE Day 30

“No prophecy of scripture is of any private interpretation for prophecy never came by the will of man but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.” 2nd Peter 1:20-21

The prophets spoke as the Holy Spirit moved them. They did not hear the Holy Spirit, interpret the message, and then write; they heard the Holy Spirit and wrote. Yes, the Holy Spirit impressed upon their minds the prophecy using the prophet’s own vocabulary and speech patterns, but the prophet was only the messenger, not the interpreter. The Bible is the inspired Word of God, written by men, but directed by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit wants to move you as well. He wants to direct your life and for you to follow. He wants you to trust Him and not try to understand or interpret each direction. He wants you to move. Just like with prophecy, time will explain. Do not lean on your own understanding. Trust God. #ReCHARGE #makingHimknown
